Wyngate PTA Scholastic Book Fair in the Wyngate Media Center
December 5th through December 8th.
Reading is vital to every child’s success. Please join us as we celebrate books and support literacy efforts in school and at home. The Book Fair is a wonderful opportunity to engage with your child about books and reading, to expand classroom libraries, and to support the PTA. It’s also the perfect time to purchase books as gifts for readers of all ages.
Hours of Operation: Monday, December 5 from 9:15am to 5pm: Children can preview the book fair during the day with their classes from 9:15am to 3:25pm. Book sales start at 3:25pm.
Tuesday, December 6 from 9:00am to 7pm: Book Sales during the school day and *Family Night/Late Night from 5pm to 7pm. There will also be a PTA General Meeting from 7pm until 8:15pm in the ‘Dual Purpose Room’ (near the All Purpose Room). Parents are invited to attend the meeting, along with PTA Members, Mr. Wiebe, Mrs. Tillman, and Mrs. King. Babysitting will be provided in the Kindergarten Wing. Mr. Wiebe will be presenting on ‘Recess at Wyngate,.’
*Wednesday, December 7 from 9am to 7pm: Book Sales during the school day and *Family Night/Late Night from 5pm to 7pm
Thursday, December 8 from 9am to 5pm: Book Sales during the school day and after school. Book Fair closes at 5pm.
*FAMILY NIGHTS: Bring your Family to show at the the Book Fair during these extended hours!! The 5th Grade will be having a Bake Sale and Pizza Sale Fundraiser (no pre-ordering required) during Tuesday and Wednesday’s Family Nights. Pizza will be sold by the slice!

Some Classroom Teachers will be posting ‘book wish lists’ at the door to the Media Center. If you would like to buy a book for your child’s classroom, you can refer to the lists at the entrance to the media center.

WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE
Don’t forget to bring gently used winter clothing for our WE CARES WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE when you come to the Family Nights or the PTA General Meeting! There will be a place to drop off clothes by the Wyngate Front Office!
